on mouse over event

Hi,
I'm new to this forum. Please help me with this issue. I would like to know if anyone has done a mouse over event or is there such a thing. I just want my main menu labels to become bold and the mouse pointer to turn into a figer pointer if an operator moves the mouse over the label.
