Thanks for taking the time to read this, hope you can help.
I have an excel workbook that calculates the final selling price for items I buy after various calculations have taken place (the calculations are dependant on the figure that is in cell A4 as an example), i.e. labor costs, lighting electric and VAT etc. All these prices are constant and are the same for all of the items I purchase, The problem is the purchase price is different for many (100's) of the items.
All these calculations take place on sheet 1 of the workbook. On sheet 2 I have linked data from an Access table with all of the items I purchase. What I am trying to achieve is I would like to click on a monetary value on sheet 2 and then when I go back to sheet 1 that figure is showing in cell A4 along with all the relevant calculations that were dependant on that figure.
This makes perfect sense to me I hope it does to you. Thanks again for your help.

I have attached a very basic example for you to look at. What I am looking for is to choose a field on sheet 2 i.e. C2 or any in that column and then when I go to sheet 1, whatever was chosen on sheet 2 will appear in cell C5 and of course all the other cells on sheet 1 will actomatically update.

Thanks
Kim

Okay, this might be a little more complicated than at first glance. Normally, you would select a price from a drop down on Sheet1, and the other cells would populate (this saves clicking on Sheet2, and in fact, Sheet2 could be hidden). However, in your case, everytime you select a cell on Sheet2, you want it to appear on Sheet1 in cell C4. Are you going to, then, keep those values stored somewhere?
