Hi Guys,

I have had a look and i cannot find another Post that explains my problem here :(

I have 2 tables... one named Hive_Rental and one named Pricing.

In the Pricing table i have 3 records

ID Product Fee
1 Hive Rental £11.00
2 Nucs £120.00
3 Swarm Collection £0.00

Now in my Hive_Rental Table i have a field that is called Rental_Fee.

What i want is the Value of "Rental_Fee" field to be the same value as the Value in the Pricing Table "Fee" Field for "Hive Rental" (record 1)

I dont want to keep having to select the drop down menu of a lookup i just want it to be auto filled when a new record is added in...

This is so that if i changed the "Fee" Field on Record 1 in the Pricing Table it will change any of the new records in the Hive_Rental Table.

I have tried Calculated fields and i have also tried to use a Qry and do a lookup but nothing seems to work :(

any help would be gratefully received.

Many Thanks,
Mike

Easiest for you might be function DLookup. Check out it's arguments. Explaining how and where youuse the calculated filed would help provide a more definitive answer.
