Hello. I am having trouble working with dates in my query. I am working on a sports database, and I have a field, called "DateOfLastPhysical" (which comes from tblAthletes) in a query (qryEligibleAthletes) that tracks when an athlete got their most recent athletic physical. An athletic physical is good for one year from the date it was given, so I want to filter out the athletes whose physicals have expired. So, if an athlete got a physical on 6/13/2002, on 6/13/2003 they no longer show up in qryEligibleAthletes.
I think I want to put something in the criteria field of the query, and I tried the built in year functions, but the results I am getting are one year from the date of the computer's clock, not one year from each individual record.
Any ideas of how I can accomplish what I would like? Also, would it be possible on my report that prints out all the athletes names and date of last physical to make the record whose physical is about to expire within 30 days appear bold on the printout in order to emphasize who needs to get their physical renewed? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
