My database which is about 30mb after compacting ran a program that I wrote which had a nasty infinite loop in it. I stared program and walked away and when I came back some time later I found the loop and corrected it. The problem now is that the file size for my dbase reads just over 2gb. I've heard before that Access is limited to 2gb and I think my dbase hit the limt and is choking now. It acts now as though the dbase has been corrupted as it will not run a compact & repair. Any ideas on what I can do? I have a backup of course, but if I went to that I'd lose a few hours of work. Thanks for any help.

NJudson,

You can make a new blank database and import the contents
of your old corrupt one into it.

If that doesn't work, maybe the Jet Repair utility ...

Thanks for the reply. I'll give it a shot.

Maybe you better of to think of migration data from MS Access db to SQL Server database.
You will not care of your db size anymore.
