I developed a Database in Access 2003.

I put the database in a server so more than one person can access to the database at the same time.

I did a quick link to the data base, to be able to access more than one person at once.

Now my problem is when somebody try to open the quick link from a computer with a Access 2007, I get this error:

The operating system is not presently configured to run this application.

Can anyone help me out to fix this problem.

thanks so much

What you are doing is a fast track to corruption of your database.
For more information search this site for splitting database.

I believe that splitting database is not my problem, because people from others computers can open the database if they have Access 2003 where the database was created, but not if they try to open it from Access 2007, then they have the error message :

"The operating system is not presently configured to run this application.
"

Thanks again

What is a quick link? The MSACCESS.EXE file is not in the same place for each version of access if you are referencing the executable. Also, the Access 2007 users will have to adjust their trust settings.
