Open a file as read only

Hi All!

I currently have a database where I can browse for a file and attach it to a list box. (I have attached the db so you can see it). My problem is that the customer wants the file to open as read-only so and they can save as another name. Is there a way to open up a file as save as?

Right click on your database file. Go to property and check the Read Only box.

Clarification

Thanks for your response. I did not explain myself properly in the first post. The database should be able to be modified but the file hyperlink should open a read only document or file.

Any ideas?
