Open a Form ready to add a new record

Hi, I have created a form, but when I open it, it opens displaying the last record entered, How can I make the form open blank and ready to add a new record.

Set the Data Entry property to True and make sure Allow Additions is also set to Yes

David's solution will only allow new records to be added; you will not be able view existing records using your form.

If you need to open your form to a new record and be able to view existing records, as well, you can use this code:

Private Sub Form_Load()
  DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acNewRec
End Sub
