Open as Filter by Form

I shall have to catch this thread later when I get in from work - so sorry folks, no instant reply from me.

I am trying to build a (hopefully) idiot-proof database, with simple search facilities. In my Access XP version, I have used a neat idea I derived from the M$ sample 'Customer Database', and I'm happy with that. But that won't work in A97. So, I need a way to open a form as an empty "filter by form" form ready to use. I can't see it being much more idiot-proof than that!

A seemingly simple request (?)

Can it be done? Can I open a form as an empty "filter by form" in A97?

Try putting

DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdFilterByForm

in your form's Load event.
