Open Blank Record

Good afternoon

Is it possible to have a blank new form open? at the moment it always opens on the first record and I have had to put a button on 'add new record' but I think it would be simplier if it was blank.

I have of course tried using the stupid paper clip thingamebob but as usual it just makes noises and does acrobatics.

You could use the following code.

DoCmd.OpenForm "Yourfornname", , , , acFormAdd

Or you could actually set the form properties to data entry, so if you have multiple places that opens the form AND its only used for data entry; then that would be your best bet.
