I would appreciate any help anyone can provide with this:
I have an html page that has a hyperlink to open an Access database on the same server the html page is located. Ideally, I would like when the user clicks this hyperlink, for the database to automatically open up. Instead, the 'File Download' box appears giving the user the choice to 'SAVE' to local machine or 'OPEN'. I really don't want the user to have the option of saving to their own machine (the db depends on ODBC connection to the server). Also, if the user chooses 'OPEN', nothing happens. Is it not possible for an Access database to open up through a hyperlink like a MS Word document does?
Bottom line, I would like to avoid the file download box and just have the referenced db open up.
