When giving users access to an MS Access database, I always publish a shortcut to the database in a shared network directory.
The properties of the shortcut are typically as follows...
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\MSACCESS.EXE" /wrkgrp "\\server\servershare\system.mdw""\\server\servershare\database.mdb" /user username
Is there anyway to produce a HTML link which would do the same thing? I would like to be able to publish links to the database on our Intranet.
