Hi

I have a db and would like to use the yes/no feature, which is a control in a subform. I would like to tick the box and when i do so to open another form with the same records.

A bit of background, I have an archiving db and the tick means that the box is coming out of the archive the form that loads is just details about that box, where it is going, dates etc. That way I can do queries to see what is in at any one time and use quieries for particular dates etc.

Would really appreciate some help!!

Many thanks

scott

Use a filter on the new window from the data in your current form/subform so it only pulls the rows you wish.

HELP!!

Hi thanks for your reply but to sure what you mean.

If you base your new form on a table or query that pulls all the rows, than you set the filter on that form to only pull the critera from your check box, it will only pull those rows. As an example you check the row where the key is A12345, so you set the filter to KEY = 'A12345', then the form will only pull rows with that key (you may have to requery the form also). Or if is one common field you can use, you can base your form on a query that pulls it's criteria from the open form, same results, only that row checked. Or maybe I am not understanding the question...
