Opening a form exclusively

Greetings,

I was wondering if there is a way to open one specific form exclusively. I have a SQL statement that is triggered in the OnOpen event procedure. I only want one person in this particular form at a time, otherwise the SQL statement gums up the form. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.
