Opening a new mail through Hperlink on a Form

Hi,

I'm very new to this database game and have just starting creating a customer information database. But have come across a problem already. I created a form which I've setup a field which contains customer email address, when click on it the hperlink, it trys to find a web site....

"Unable to find http://abc@abc.com. The internet site reports that the item you requested could not be found (HTTP//1.0 404)"

But what I want it to hyperlink it to is MS Outlook 2000. Can any help?

I'm using MS ACCESS 2000 & WIN PRO 2000

Hi Newman,

Yes I gave that a go and it works, by right clicking on the hyperlink and selecting "Hyperlink" then "Edit Hyperlink", the Edit Hyperlink dialog appears and I changed the email address to mailto:abc@abc.com

But its only works with the one record, how can I make this a permanent solution to every customer record. Do I have to change some thing in the TABLE or can it be done in the FORM???
