opening a query in a command button

i want to set my command button to view a query after i clicked..

Simply use the Command button Wizard and follow the bouncing ball.

Having said that though, You are probably better off using the query as the Record Source for a form, and open the form instead.

In this way you can control how your user interacts with the data.
