Opening form to view new records

I am wanting to open a form from a switchboard that will default by showing on a new record upon opening. However, I still want to have the ability for user to view previous records if they choose. We just need the form open to a new record to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

In the On Open event of the form that you are wanting at a new record, you can just put this:
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdRecordsGoToNew
