Okay trying to get at an mdb that I have copied from the live network drive onto my own machine. Each time I try and look at a table in design or data mode it keeps trying to locate the table on the network drive.

How do I tell access to look at the copy on local drive? Using version 2003, and don't remember this issue from version 97.

Oops forget this one. It's a linked db from another place on the shared drive.

Frack!!!!! Really wish people would document around this company. This could be a long day as I attempt to get this working locally. :(

Word to anyone just starting their I.T career, document everything ;)

Hint: Put the location of the linked table in the description of that table. You keep the original description of that table at the actual database.

Salient,

Just look at the Connect field in the MSysObjects table.

Salient,

Oops, meant the Database field.

Connect is for ODBC connection.
