Hi
I have just put a split database on a stand alone laptop. Its a Dell running Access 2000 on Win98 (not my own laptop!)
When I try to open up the VBA code editor to see code behind form on one of my command buttons to configure a report being called up I get a VBA header on the error message "Out of memory".
If I click OK it simply flashes and comes back. Nothing else will work whilst it is up so I have had to crash the database out using <Alt><Ctrl><Del>
Is it simply a case of putting more RAM in (it currently has 128Mb) or is there something else I need to look at.
I haven't had this problem before despite the database running as a standalone database on about five different machines
Any pointers greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Malcy

Thanks
I have set it to compact and repair on close so I do not think that is a problem. I will try importing the thing (all 9Mb of front end Db) into a new file and see if that helps.
Its good to see that MS do sometimes accept they have got something wrong!!!
Best wishes

Malcy

Did you check the paging memory settings on the computer. I have had similar issues with access in the past that require me to up the virtual memory in order to load particular screens, etc..
