Hi.

I have a form based on multiple tables, with one to many relationship.
In the form query, I have an outer join relationship between the tables.

In my one side tables, my primary keys are Autonumber.

On my form, my joining fields are coming from my foreign keys.
As soon as I start typing something into the forms, my foreign keys are automatically filled. Sometimes, those fields should be blank.

How do I stop the auto filling?

The form images are attached below.
The tables are: P02, NDAs, PSAs, SOWs, Proposals
On the form, the ID fields are the foreign keys (coming from P02 Table). Mostly, the other fields are coming from other tables (NDAs, PSAs, SOWs, Proposals).

Thanks.

Thanks Pat.

I think my relationships are fine.
NDAs, PSAs, SOWs, and Proposals are documents.
Each P02 Form contains all these documents. But sometimes they are not supposed to be on P02. If P02 doesn't contain one of these documents, then I don't want it to be on P02.
One same document can be used on more than one P02 record.

The workaround that I found for preventing auto filling(indexing) foreign keys was to not make the primary keys auto-numbered. But now I am facing another problem. In the foreign keys, if I enter a primary key that exists, it complains that it doesn't exist, but it does.

I will post a better picture tomorrow.
