Hi

In the db I have constructed, when I'm in a form and press the page down key the layout of the form is changed. This is not helpful and I wish to disable this capability, when in Access only.

How can I do this?

"... press the page down key the layout of the form is changed." - sounds like you have some form design issues, that would probably also come into play in other situations too? Could it be some sizing of the form or something?

Anyway, you could try the forms keydown event, something like this:

if keycode=vbkeypagedown then
keycode=0
end if

- also set the forms Key Preview property to Yes.

I'd guess you have a very tall form in a not-so-tall window. either reduce the size of your form, increase the size of the window, or turn scroll bars property of the form onto neither....

Or it could be that you have continuous forms and not single form property on.... try them all!

Forms

I have experienced this problem before with other A2k dbs I have worked on, but not to this extent. The problem seems to occur when I use subforms and am in the parent, then press page down or search for a record (in the parent).

The forms are normally quite tight to the frames.

I have turned on and off most of the settings to no avail.
