Parsing and reporting
I have a file in Access that will need to go to excel.
Here are my two issues.
1. It is a keyword file which needs to list SKU with each keyword following it in the same row and each keyword in its own cell.
Current:
A1 B1
AA1 toys
AA1 plastic

Desired:
A1 B1 C1
AA1 toys plastic

2. Some of the file does have SKU in one cell and the keywords following it are crammed into the next cell on the same row with spaces in between each word.

Current
A1 B1
AA1 toys plastic bear

Desired:
A1 b1 c1 d1
AA1 toys plastic bear

I do have access, excel and crystal experience for a solution.
Help - thanks!!!!!

Sounds like this would be best handled using a VBA program.

Your second problem really isn't an issue because you can concatenate all the words onto one record using Access VBA and separate the SKU number from each keyword using a space. When you bring it into Excel, specify the space as the delimiting character and Excel will place each keyword into its own cell (I just hope you'll have less than 255 keywords per row).

Write a VBA program to go to each unique sku, then concatenate the sku and keywords, separating each keyword using a space and writing the result to another table. You can then import that table into Excel.
