Password protected approval

Hi

I just created a database, which is on shared drive . Users enter detail of any cancellation they like to request (eg name address etc)

Once the detail has been entered I want someone with authroity to aprove the cancellation. So what i want is to have a button on the form (Approved) by clicking on this it will allow you select the manager's name from drop down list and once chosen ask them to enter password.


Once the correct password has been entered and is approved I would like it to display the managers name on the form (under approved by text box).

Can anyone please help

I would use a second (pop up) form, to make the change.
