I wonder if one of my wonderful forum friends can confirm something for me. Will a Paste Error Table only be created if the error on an Append Query is due to a type conversion failure?
Not necessarily, I have also seen it occur if the data being appended is LARGER than the receiving field. Also have seen it burp on appending data to a Yes/No field where the data going in is BLANK. HTH JT
Thank you very much. Can we control the creation of the Paste Error Table? Meaning, is there something I can do to force the creation of a Paste Error Table every time a query, other than a select query, fails?
