HI,
Something strange has started happening with my access. I have a form open and tried to cut and paste some information into one of the fields. It doesn't matter if I try Control V or use the Edit Paste menu or use the Paste icon but the data will not paste. A popup box that reads Paste As and has a window titled Form Name with buttons reading OK or Cancel. If I try and paste something inside the window a new popup appears that reads "The object name " you entered doesn't follow Microsoft Access object-naming rules. For more information about naming objects, click Help. There are two buttons OK and Help. If I press Help the help file titled "Guidelines for naming fields, controls, and objects" appears.
Has anyone had this happen before? Is my Access somehow corrupted? Cut and paste still works properly in other applications.
Thanks for any help.
