I am running a powerpoint show on a TV in our cafeteria that shows news and other company information. I need a way to pause the show and minimize to show desktop weahter for 2 minutes then resume the powerpoint. Any ideas????

You could of course use a batch file and run it using the task scheduler within XP but sorry not very hot on writing them
Or you could even look at digital signage solutions - here's 2 open source links clicky 1, clicky 2 because we all know that once you deliver one thing they always want more
This is a separate application. Desktop weather from the weather channel runs in the background and it would be easiest to minimize and pause my presentation for 2 minutes and then maximiaze and restart but I am not very good at code so I came here for suggestions...
