PEOpenEngine() API calls in crystal reports xi/ crystal reports 2008

We currently use Crystal 10 in our VC++ based win32 application. We use the Crystal API by including crpe.h , linking to crpe32m.lib and opening the reports by using the common API calls e.g, PEOpenEngine(),PEOpenPrintJob() etc..). We are considering moving Crystal 2008 and would like to know if the above method and API is still supported in 2008? Is it available in Crystal X1?
