hi Iam new to this can anyone help i want to be able to enter phone numbers the code that ive found only seems to allow me to enter first 3 numbers were actually the areA code has 4 can any one give me correct formula

What code are you using ?
First check the settings of the input mask relevant to the field you want to store the number in. Might be a restriction of the field size property as well.

Is it possible to change an input mask, on one filed, dependant on the value in another field?

hi thanks for your reply this is the mask input \(9999") "00090009 but ot wont let me enter phone number correct it comes up (0173)36666
it should be 01733 666666

get rid of the parenthesis and add another 9 to the beginning.

When you joined the group, you should have entered the country where you live. It would have sped up resolution to this problem.
