Picture in form

I've created a form with a Bound Object Frame into which I insert a jpeg photo as an icon. My problem is that with every 60kb photo attached in this way the database increases in size by over 1mb!!!!!!
The Size Mode in properties is set to Clip (not sure if this has any effect on icons).
The problem is obvious. Size does matter. Any suggestions or other threads to follow?

There are lots of threads about this (or at least there have been quite a few recently). The general idea is not to store the jpegs in the database itself, but to link to them.
