Is there anyway I can get a picture to blend into the background of the report? and have the text go over it if there is any?

Yes.
In design view goto Insert >> Picture
Select your picture and place the controls over it.

You have your picture in the detail section of the report, place it in the header.

hmm still no difference basically i want it in the bathe found results over the top of it so in a way the picture shall be watermarked? is it possible? like "behind the text"?

Look up 'add a background picture to a report' in the help menu.

In design view of your report, select properties and scroll down to 'Picture', select your picture. That should do it.

WoW it did it!! thanks a bunch that stupid help file didnt work very well since there was no picture formating in the format menu
