I have tried to following the example in the Access 2000 bible on how to build one and that is why this is in the forms section since you do it using a form.
Anyway, I have created the Pivot table in excel by exporting the data from a query in access, but I would really like to just have it in access. I have attached the 2 screen shots but using the same data from the query. I want it to summarize that data per order type category. You will see what I mean when you see the screen shots.
