Placement of controls on a report

I have produced an invoice as a report. Invoices may have several lines; I have a text box in a group footer calculating the invoice total. The invoice is to be printed on headed paper, so the total amount must always print in the same location. However, when there are a number of invoice lines it moves up or down accordingly. How do I ensure the invoice total always prints in the same place?

The page footer is in a constant position at the bottom of each page.
Can't you put your total there?

Like you say, the page footer placement doesn't move, this would be great but it comes too far down on my headed paper. ??

So make the page footer fatter...it works from the bottom up, right?
