please help: display field with no data in pivotchart

I (a total noob, i know) am trying to generate a pivotchart in a query that shows [quantity shipped] v. [month] relationship for each [product] in our database. However, the months in which no shipments are made do not show up on the pivottable/pivotchart, and i was wondering how to get all the months displaying.

for example, let's say product A has only been shipped out in april, august and july...then the chart only shows the quantity shipped for these three months. i want it to display january, february, etc...with quantity value of 0.

i hope that's not too vague. please help.
