Hi, I have an Excel spreadsheet with 15 different worksheets.

Each worksheet relates to a set day on a programme of 15 days. Is there a way of inputting the first date on the first worksheet and having the rest of the sheets popluated with the correct date for that sheet?

i.e if i type in Monday 15th June on the first spreadsheet, is there a way of getting Tuesday 16th June to come up on the 2nd spreadhseet etc?

Thanks

I have also posted this answer in your thread on the Queries board.

So to answer, yes you can do what you're asking. Choose the cell on the first sheet where you are going to enter the date. For my example, this is cell B2. On the second sheet, go on to the date cell and type:
=1+'Sheet1'!B2
This will add one day onto the date. Repeat for the other sheets, changing the 1 to a 2, 3, 4, etc.

Thanks for your help Kafrin

I know that this might seem like a stupid question but when i type that formula in and press enter, a seperate box comes up with "update values: sheet 1" as if i am to open something up from either the desktop/computer etc as their icons are downt he left side of the box with my recent documents etc

what do i do with this box?

Thanks

Sorry, should have said before, you need to replace the words Sheet1 with the name of your first sheet. I think you have a different name for your sheet, so it's asking where Sheet1 is.

Alternatively, type in:
=1+
without pressing enter, and then go to the sheet and click on the correct cell. This will put the correct reference in. Press enter, and hopefully you now won't have the box come up.
