please help!

i'm an intern working with access and i've been learning a lot, however, i still have no idea how to do MANY things

ive tried looking for cascading combo box examples in the forums but i come up with nothing

what i want to do is be able to sort people in my mailing list database by category

i also want it to be possible for one person to be in more than one category

in my form, i'd like one list to display all the categories
after a double click, i'd like all the names belonging to that category to go into a second list box. idealy i'd like the list to accumulate names - so it is possible to send one letter to multiple categories


ok, i know this is a lot, and i'm sorry that i am dumb

the example you did for me looks really good - i think the coding in it is exactly what i needed

sorry about the late reply, i was pulled away from my computer the last few days at work and havent had a chance to look at any of it
