Point of Sale Software

I used Access some while ago in my own business, but I am now retired. I have a friend with a large equipment rental company and he needs a point of sale package. I am not knowledgable enough to create one. Does anyone know I can find an access programmer with a program or where I can find one for sale??

A Google search will give you results. There are numerous applications available.
It doesn't specifically have to be in Access, does it?

It does not have to be Access, but it is the only database that I have used and I was pleased with it. And thinking in the future I think people could be found to service an Access database if something happened to the original programmer.
