I am using access 2007. I need some help. I have a vehicle input screen, that has a combo box for the dealer the car belongs too. When the dealer i am inputting [dealerno] is not on list, i want a pop up box to come up [frmdealerpopup] asking if i want to enter the dealer. The "YES" generates the dealer input [frmdealers] screen to open for edit/ the "no" SHOULD close the screen, but it doesnt. there are some quirks when i do this, the pop up screen wont go away even after i input the new dealer. Any ideas? i wnat to copy this format to a few other forms.. but need to get it right first. I would appreciate any help i can get... i am attaching a copy of the DB.

after some messing around, i realized i dont NEED the seperate pop up form, but can make my frmdealers a pop up form itself. that works fine, and after i enter the dealer info, i have a save record box that saves and closes the new dealer info, but how do i get the new dealer to show in the cbodealer combo box when i am back on my frmvehicles screen. i tried requery in diff spots, but cant seem to get it to work.... HELP! attaching a new copy of the DB little cleaned up....
