I just finished doing an Access2000 to Access97 "previous version" conversion for a posting from Mincher earlier today. The conversion was a snap, taking only a couple of minutes for the whole thing, and appeared to work post-conversion (although I don't have an Access97 environment to really test it).
The problem came when I then went to do a quick check on a 2000 db application I'm working on. First I got a "corrupted MSACCESS.EXE" message. I ran a "repair installation" using my original CD and everything was cool until I tried to print out a page from Help. I got a "cannot find printer" message. I checked in setup and the correct printer was listed. Just out of curiosity I then tried printing a report from the db and it printed just fine! The only problem is in trying to print from the help files!!!
Anyone with any similar experiences/ideas with either of these problems?
Thanks,
The Missinglinq
