Preforming Multiplications

I am wondering how and whre you would preform a multiplcation in access. I have a feild called ammout and a feild called price per item. what i want to do is multiply these feilds and then display the result in the Total feild... cheers

in the control source of your totals text box type = [qty] + [amt]

you can do all linear equations with this format. hope this helps
