Prevent datasheet editing in Spit Form

This forum has been great so far, thanks to everyone!

I am wondering if there is a way to prevent our staff from being able to make changes in the datasheet in a split form. We only want the datasheet in split form for navigation purposes and for a visual representation of our current jobs. Is it possible to disable editing in the datasheet and only allow editing (and adding new jobs) in the form?

You can set the properties to allow edits = No

If you open the form in design view and then go to the ALL tab in the form properties dialog and then look for SPLIT FORM DATASHEET you can set it to either Allow Edits or READ ONLY.
