Hi all,

I'm currently working on a form to be used by people with limited to no PC experience.

At the moment, if they press CTRL-P, the PC's default printer will happily commence to waste roughly 29,000 sheets of paper. I'd very much like to prevent this from happening by disabling certain keyboard shortcuts (to be saved with the .mdb file). Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to do so.

Is that even possible?

Regards
Bani

Have you tried going into the Startup... menu and unchecking all of the boxes?

yeah, I'm afraid there's no control for keyboard shortcuts there :(

I believe the "Use Access Special Keys" controls that sequence. Did you try unchecking all of the boxes?

yeah I did, it didn't.

However, I found a solution:
I intercepted the KeyPress event on the form and disabled CTRL-P. Also disabled Page Down and Page Up while I was at it ;)

That sounds like a good solution. Thanks for posting back.
