Print Report Records Horizontally

I have a database that I would like to print records horizontally in the details section, but I have a header that I would like to print across the entire page. I tried to manipulate the columns feature in the print setup but found out that you had you couldn't have a header any wider than your first column. I want to print four records per page in a column fashion (simple list of data). Can I do that with bound controls or am I going to have to do other alternatives.

Bottom Line, I want to print 4 records per page (side by side) horizontally. If this requests makes sense, please message me. i've been fighting this for two weeks now. Thanks for the help.

I want the Page header to span across the page, then have the details section display four records horizontally across the page (8.5 x 11 page), the next page display the next 4 records, again horizontally across the page. Is this easy to do or requires a moderate amount of coding? If needbe, I can attach a picture of the report that I wish to produce. Thanks for the reply!

That Microsoft Support Page provided exactly what I needed. However, one more question with regards to that. I want to print one more column, preferably at the beginning of the 4 columns (to the far left) that won't be repeated each time the record is displayed (it serves as a quick data reference to each of the columns and I don't want it displayed multiple times.) There a quick and easy solution to that? Thanks for all the help. What a valuable resource this web site is.

I'm just wondering if a subreport might be more what I'm looking for. question is, can you have a subreport list only 4 records on one page of a report, and then display the next 4 records on the next page. I've had subreports cause me problems because it put all related records onto the first page and if there wasn't room on the page, you didn't get to see the records. The column FAQ was great and works, but I also need to display other information in the details section that I don't want repeated in that section. Any takers on this one?
