i have a grave memorial database with over 12,000 images [externally stored] and a report which has 2 subforms based on a QBF. one of the sub forms is an image. so for each query the report will only import 1 image and then print. the image to import was 300kb but if i wanted to print over 30 records with 1 image each based on a QBF the system crashed. so i created images to use with this report that were only 30kb in size. this helped a lot and i was able to use a QBF that would return 70-80 records, import 1 image each for these records and print with no problem. however if i tried to print over 200 records [ie 210 records] the printer would just carry on printing past the 210 records that were created by the QBF and it would start repeat printing the records that it had already printed.
I think the question I'm asking is how many records with 1 image per page can you print without Access getting all screwed up?
thanks in advance
and any advice that can help me extend the number of records i can print will be greatly appreciated
