Print Reports & Send to PDF

Hi, I am stuck on something regarding reports.

I have one report that displays contact information of different departments of our company. How can I sort and print by Department and send it to a pdf?

I am looking to create this functionality through a command button on a form.

If you are using Access 2007 or 2010 there is a built in ability to create a PDF from a report.

I am using Access 2003.

Essentially I would like to take my Departments report, apply a filter that will display only certain departments, and then print the resulting report to a pdf file. Accomplishing this through a command button and code would be ideal.

Hi dnphm,

Try this (http://www.lebans.com/reporttopdf.htm).
I had to use something like this for my work as they won't part with the ca$h for A2010.
I also have the unfortunate hassle of having to export the pdf to Lotus Notes.

One rhing I have noticed with my own use is that sometimes you may have to open the report you want using the 'hidden' option before running the pdf converter, as it can create an empty report. You would only get graphics and heading but no data.
