Hi everyone,

Me and my friend have made a database with our clients, now we would like to print te filtered contacts adresses on enveloppes.

We made it so far that we can filter what we would like to see on the enveloppe but we don't know what to adjust or type or do to get these adresses on the enveloppes??

he allways print the first contact, also when this one isn't in our selection?

what can we do to print our filtered contacts adres on enveloppes?

kind regards

Access is not really set up to print envelopes, only labels. It may work for envelopes but you would have to use a custom label setup with one label per page and the custom label size set to the size of your envelope.
You may wish to try a mail merge to Word using the query for you envelopes.
Word IS set up for envelopes.

Hi, you can do it like this:
make a report that looks like an envelope (i.e. name & address & no other bits)
put a command button on the form where you are selecting the contact
set the onclick event procedure to:
strReportName = "rptEnvelope"
strCriteria = "[ID] = " & Me![ID]
DoCmd.OpenReport strReportName, acViewPreview, , strCriteria
and on the report, set the page setup to be whatever size envelope you're using (this might depend on what printer you're using though......). If your ID field isn't numeric, use: strCriteria = "[ID]='" & Me![ID] & "'"

Hope this helps.
