printing forms

I am new to databases. so if I have missed the obvious I am sorry. The problem: I have a form that prints exactly onto an A4 sheet 1 record per page, but a blank page is being inserted between each record so that record 1 appears on page 1 record 2 appears on page 3 etc no page numbers appear on the blank pages. I have tried the suggestions in the faq to save as a report but this just migrates the problem to the report, help!

Check the margins on your form and adjust accordingly (usually your right hand margin). The problem here is that your forms actual size, together with the margins are set to a size larger than the actual paper size, which causes a runoff after each record printed.

Carol,
That was spot on, It took a bit of playing around with both Form width and the column size width in page set up, but I now have the desired result.
