Hi, not sure if this is possible, but I have a database with all the details.

I have now been asked to produce daily tick sheets, similar to the excel spreadsheet I have added. The idea is simply so that Manager can see who is handing in their labour vouchers and who isn't. The data will not be fed back into the databse at all.

They are requesting a button on the main switchboard that they can press to print out the forms on a daily basis.

Are they asking the impossible?

Just one noe about the above, there are 7 Cells each requiring this form but with the Cell name being differnat on all of them

Any help would be very helpful.

Yes you can have a button on a form to produce the report -- proabably a Command Button. The attachment you included is actually a spreadsheet not the database you're using. Withouth seeing what've you done already, how about creating the look-alike report in Access, generated from the button, then exporting it as an Excel spreadsheet looking like the report you generate ?

Hi JT

The attatchment I havce sent is an excel spreadsheet yes, that is how they are doing things now, but everytime we have leavers or starters, they have to update both the database and the spreadsheet. They want to be lazy and just do the database.

I wholeheartedly agree they should only be needing to update in one place. But have you produced a report in Access to accomplish the printout they want ?

No, I havent produced a report in access, as this is simply an additional item. they have been using the old sytem for over 18 months now!!!!!

Plus, Im not sure how to produce a report similar to the excel sheet from access with boxes and lines etc??
