Problem due to date format in append queries (1 Viewer)

The date format of my computer is in dd/mm/yyyy of United Kingdom. But when my access application used in another computers having date format of United State the append query in my database create duplicate records in the destination table. How can we prevent it. I want all my dates in my application should be in dd/mm/yyyy of UK irrespective of the system date format.
Is there any way to ensure it. Please help.

all dates are stored the same no matter the country. (decimal)
The format can be shown any way you wish.

I would make sure to set all user interfaces use your format
text boxes, query fields. (the country setting may get ignored)

Create a function to evaluate any date to yyyy-mm-dd format and you won't have any problems.
