Problem with charts

Dear All

I am not very good with charts in MS access. I have created a chart based on a parameter query. I have defined parameters in parameter dialogue box as well.
In detail section of report I have arranged data from query and on report footer section I have put a chart again based on same query.

When I run the query on its own, it prompts for the parameters only once and give results but when I open the report based on same query, it prompts for same parameters 3-4 times, and sometime more that that. When I put chart in detail report section, prompt never stopped asking the parameters over and over again. But when I open report without chart it works normal.

Can somebody tell me where I am doing wrong and how can I get it right?

Think that because you have report in detail section it is looking through each record and prompting.

Try moving it to footer section (just to prove the point) If it doesn't repeatedly ask for parameters then that is the reason
