problem with DoCmd.GoToRecord

I am using this bit of code within a subform, however, it only works when the form is run independently (not as a subform).

DoCmd.GoToRecord acDataForm, Me.Name, acGoTo, myPos

The name of the subform is 'Repair Traveler'
I get the error 'Repair Traveler' not open

I have also tried this:

DoCmd.GoToRecord acDataForm, Forms!MainForm![Repair Traveler], acGoTo, myPos

But that didn't work either, it gives me a wrong data type error..

What do I try next?

Found it:

DoCmd.GoToRecord , , acGoTo, myPos

I had a couple of ambiguous statements in my goto parameters
